There's gaming and then there's gaming

Hardcover goes all the way up and down to "infinity", Ben would know that, so I'd say this was done purely for the video camera.

I agree, probably just for camera, but it does appear to be legal

2.2.3.3 Unless otherwise specified in the written stage briefing, all such barriers, walls, vision barriers and snow fence barriers will be considered to go from the ground to the height as constructed.

I think everyone of us has thought about climbing on top of something to do just that. Kinds ruins the fun of the stage though.

Why is there a red dot on his pistol? Those aren't allowed in production. (Insert Burk's blue sarcastic font).

Obviously this is a video of him just goofing off. (He starts with the gun in hand)

In the past, it was common for WSB's to state that walls go from "ground to God"
Over time people accepted that walls in general are holding up ceilings or roofs.
Now MD's often neglect to include all the little details in a WSB. (some clubs even ignore the requirement to have WSB's)

Then some jackass pulls a stunt like this and we have to have a long convoluted conversation about 'Forbidden Actions'

Its a good reminder to the MD's out there: write an ironclad WSB.

He starts with gun in hand because he's wearing his production rig.
He's obviously borrowing someone's gun to screw around.

When I lived in TX, the range there used wooden walls that were a lot shorter than myself.

I was told I'd get a penalty for shooting over them lol

I'm 6'8"

2.2.3 Barriers â€" Must be constructed in the following manner:
2.2.3.1 They must be high enough and strong enough to serve the
intended purpose.
2.2.3.2 They should include Fault Lines projecting rearward at ground
level from the side edges.
2.2.3.3 Unless otherwise specified in the written stage briefing, all such
barriers, walls, vision barriers and snow fence barriers will be
considered to go from the ground to the height as constructed.

I've heard people say they go from the ground to infinity, mostly old guys, but I've never seen it written.

Has it ever been written that way in the rule book?

Im not getting on you, Brandon, but this motto is something that Ive hated with all my heart from the first time I heard it.

Depending on the height of the berms it could be considered a Forbidden Action for safety reasons also
