"The Dick Act of 1902 also known as the Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654, of June 28, 1902 invalidates all so-called gun-control laws. It also divides the militia into three distinct and separate entities. The three classes H.R. 11654 provides for are the organized militia, henceforth known as the National Guard of the State, Territory and District of Columbia , the unorganized militia and the regular army. The militia encompasses every able-bodied male between the ages of 18 and 45. All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.

The Dick Act of 1902 cannot be repealed; to do so would violate bills of attainder and ex post facto laws which would be yet another gross violation of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The President of the United States has zero authority without violating the Constitution to call the National Guard to serve outside of their State borders."

So if you're between 18 and 45 years old you can maintain your weapons but what about all the people who are over 45 years old ? no longer be part of this militia and might lose their rights to maintain their firearms

All well and good for the militia but I'm closer to 60 than 45 meaning I am not protected by this act. Am I correct in thinking this?

no, over 45 is the unregulated militia. keep ANY type and as many as you want.

All members of the unorganized militia have the absolute personal right and 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms of any type, and as many as they can afford to buy.

national guard, organized is up to 45, unorganized is all inclusive, everyone. as in the case of an all out fight against gov tyranny.

even not being in the guard we are part of the militia till death, organized or unorganized. used to be there were no police. that was what the unorganized militia was, citizens, ready to take up arms. the posse once the lawman was brought to being.

Aaahhhh! Sounds reasonable
Methinks that the unregulated militia should take back our country

anyone with computer savy know,

is there a way to have an anonymous count site, spread across the country, for people to click on as ..... patriots, in case of a need? ;) ;)

or some other way of putting "it", untrackable?

suppose "someone" invades us.

but that would put a number out there for another entity to see. good or bad?

The right to weaponry belongs to we, the people.

The legal definition of "militia" is codified in US Law.

If you are a US citizen, male, and ages 17 - 45 you are automatically considered "unorganized militia" unless you have otherwise changed your status by enlisting in another, enumerated, organization.

The only reason "militia" is ever brought up by gun people is because anti-gun people try and use the term "militia" to mean that regular people shouldn't own guns, only "the militia."
