Thank you blackbeard for the welcome. I am new to the 1911 world. My introduction came in a class for gun Smith's that included the 1911. I have been around firearms my whole life but have not had the opportunity to deal wit.h this wonderful weapon. I have a kimber micro 9 which is built on the 1911 design but does not have all the features of a full size. I'm looking for 1911 now. So any suggestions would be helpful.
