Wow, what happened in Texas? Several Boomer,s went and not a word??? How was it? Are shooter,s still stinging? inquiering minds want to know. I felt it was a good match with an F.U.ed prize table, but my results are different than other Boomer,s. I hear Anderson and Chambers kicked some a$$ and Spiff did himself proud. Kelly Raglin, Doug Bowdler and Diana were all there....what up? Did Alamo Shooter really subject you guys to a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner??....let it all hang out! KurtM.....Texas State 3-Gun Limited Champion....again....for the 5th time!

The results are in. Here's how the okies/BS'ers fared. I apologize if I missed anyone.

TAC (248 competitors)
-----------
17. Trapr Swanson
24. Mike Chambers
32. Chris Andersen
33. Chad Stanton
40. Di Liedorff
57. Doug Bowdler
78. Tyler Martinez
86. Jeff Brumbaugh

OPEN (40 competitors)
-----------
7. Eric Crotsley
11. Kelly Raglin

LIMITED (22 competitors)
-----------
1. Kurt Miller
2. Mike Seeklander
4. Mike Cyrwus
9. Austin Tulloh

Mother nature gave Chris, Cyrwus, Austin and myself a royal boning on day 1. Shooting at a 20" plate at 500 yards in a gusting 15-25 mph crosswind is not an easy task. It was also holding poppers up, blowing clays, etc. :o Regardless, it was a very fun match!

They have been talking about it in the match announcement,

The Squad 3 Star Spangled Banner was the most atonal thing I've ever heard in my life. :)) I think all the loud noises have done some damage to our singability.

Curious what you mean about the prize table. I definitely got my match fee back, but I don't know how the folks lower than me made out.

Congrats again buddy! But how hard is it really when you only have to beat 21 people? :)

I wouldn't say I kicked ass. I crashed on 4 stages pretty bad!! It was definitely a learning experience.

For example, I learned a thing or two about Trinidad, CO, and that Shiner Bock is best enjoyed outdoors in the state of Texas.

Ahhh I know Chambers can easily beat Mike Seeklander, Cammeron, and Mike Cyrwus, so I guess he is saying I didn't have any competition. I guess I forgot how good he is!!! Congratulations on winning your division Mike!....but if you look at the overalls I would have finished at 5th in Tac Optic with My Iron sight rifle! Anytime you want to go head to head just let me know what division and I am there! And I will even shoot my iron sight rifle against your tawdry optic, we can do a side bet for $$$ to make it fun you goof! As for Shiner outside it was a great time! Glad you guys could join us, although Chris looked a bit wind blown....like a beet!

I don't know about head to head but I'll go beer for beer. :)

Shooting at Midwest?

Well let,s see. My raw time was 367.21, yours was 440.76 so you shot 86 % or so, so that would mean you are at a nearly 1 to two ratio of beer to stage, so at mid west you better plan on a 12 pack or so. I say we put 100 on the raw score and another 30 on the beer, that way we don't have to drink cheap crap and the 100 is used for a nice dinnner for both of us so I don't see a down side. BTW if you want to get better I am giving a 3-gun class this weekend!

( NOte I am just f*&%king with my amigo and NOTHING is ment by any of this, both Chris and Mike are my friends.....and NOT from Trinidad! that is just for 5th Group!)
