Taccom Caddy Adjustment

Do most folks adjust the quad caddy so that the top holder is holdng brass? My plan is to mount 3 on a molle chest carrier with 2 Choate 6 rounders on my belt in case of disaster. I'm a little worried the molle won't be stiff enough, too. Thanks!

I have to adjust them out like that just to get my big paws in there.

The top holder should be all the way up the the brass rim. Like Tony said it allows me to get my big dick beaters around the shells.
