OK, so Brandon convinces me he needs cleats to shoot. I am thinking those would be pretty uncomfortable to stand on for long periods and so the research was on. Most people agree with my thoughts but there are diehards that claim you can't be at your best without them. Then Brandon tells me, "The way you shoot you need some distraction so people don't notice how bad you are" and I am thinking he's probably right. So this weekend while killing time cruising through Academy I come across the answer to my dilemna, hence my new shooting shoes. What is your shooting style statement?

I saw those EXACT shoes at Academy also. They were called trail running shoes or something. I like them!

MY shooting style statement is a halter top and a pair of satin nutters..........

Yo Burk, a few more replies like that and I may have to get Brandon to delete this post

I can't see the picture cause im on my phone but it looks like the Adidas Kandra Trail. If it is the Kandra I have 3 pair of them. You can find black on black versions on the zappos but they are $10-15 higher due to the overnight shipping. I used to wear cleats but they are not good for a weak ankle which I now have. I haven't noticed any drop in traction with my trail shoes and they are much more comfortable and don't look dorky like cleat do

I'm thinking of going with the Inov-8 Mud Claw's - the tread on these shoes are BITCHIN!!!!

Those look badass Brandon except for the flame red. Any other colors available like black?

wow and i thought all the women that go to the outlet malls were too into fashion!!! hahahah

The Red ones are the Mudclaw 272s (272 grams) these are the Mudclaw 333s (333 grams) Just depends on which weight you want. Everything I've read says they are SUPER DUPER COMFORTABLE!!!!

I like lightweight and breathable. Cleats are neither.

What's the cost of these?

Bout $110 ish

There is a thread on Enos about cleats and the 272s are mentioned a TON of times

Trail running shoes are where its at. I've had at least 2 sets of Adidas trail running shoes in my closet at any given time since '96. They are the Shizzle my nizzle.

I'm gonna have to look into those Inov 8's though.

These are cool too... http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/index.htm

Damn $110 is twice what the Adidas cost And four times a pair of Nike Shark cleats.

I saw those boots on a dude today. They look heavy. Like swinging a lead bat. Or wearing two condoms in every day life then taking one off when you make love. Then you feel like a wildman!

If I saw you at the range in some of those, I'd probably laugh to hard to shoot...so mission accomplished.

How about something in a nice leather with a thick Durashock sole & steel toe?

Something like.......
