I'm a Ruger fan, so after owning the whole series from mark 1 through the current mk3 hunter with red dot for the last 20 or so years, stripping one down is not as daunting as it used to be. There is even a "speed stripper" upgrade to help the whole process. So, if you ever wanted to own your own stripper, this is the route to take.

Scott if you wouldn't mind I would appreciate running a few round thru your pistol! that's pretty much the model I was looking at just not a fan of that fiber up front I'm just used to all black sights kinda easier to hit those tree rats. Later,

Kirk you are welcome to run the elephant dung out of it. It has a cheap BSA optic on it. But it comes right off, so you can run it both ways. I think I have 4 or 5 mags. Probably 4.
