What time to get there to help setup?
Steve,
I plan on being there at 8:00. I think that's what time we started setting up last month.

Just a question. Since there are no consumables in SC, except for spray paint, why is the entry fee higher than the USPSA matches? I know initially it was to pay for the steel, but that's been like 4 years. Just askin.

The USPSA matches are about to go up to 15/20

Really doesn't answer the question. There are paper targets to pay for, pasters, and uspsa classifier fees.

Oh well. Really doesn't matter, just an interesting thought that crossed in conversation with someone else that isn't coming because of the cost. :)

Wait. That didn't come out right. He's not shooting because of the cost and asked me why it was higher. The price doesn't impact my decision to shoot or not, but the conversation was though provoking.

It was possibly due to the fact that with the on again off again matches, we were only having a handful of shooters show up. With the turnout we've been getting (providing it keeps up) we may get to lower it.

I'm sorry there are those that feel the match fee is too high, but I didn't set it. Also, as you said, there are very little consumables, which means the money goes straight into the action pistol fund to pay for the new bays & building & cover & targets & steel & etc. etc. etc.
