Is there anything out there, that doesn't break the bank, capable of spotting .22 holes at 200 yards? Or at least 100 yards? I've never owned my own spotting scope, but the one issued to me could spot .30 holes at 300 yards and farther. I cannot remember anything about the scope though. Also I don't know what I need as to power, or variable power, or FOV.
Suggestions?

Damn, I'll save that cash for a Benelli and walk to see the targets. I'm too fat anyway!

I use it for hunting. I can see the neighbors mail box at 3/4 mile pretty good.

I've used it a 100 yds, and .22 holes are pretty easy to see.

I looked around for spotting scopes a while back. The general consensus I found was that you need 60x to see .22 caliber holes at 200 yards. The 45x one Dennis posted has good reviews. OpticsPlanet has a 30 day return policy so if you don't like it you're only out return shipping if it won't work for you. Post a review of what you pick up because I'm interested in picking one up eventually.

Thanks guys! I can live with some mentioned, and save for a Benelli. Probably still should walk tho

I could see .223 holes at 300 in cardboard with the Swaro. It was awesome! I need one.
