SMITH & WESSON TO END MOST CA SALES

And Glock joins the party! <----Click it!So I guess I don't understand their dumbass law. Why do existing models get a pass? I'm assuming they do, but too lazy don't care enough to go look it up.
That's the evil simplicity of it. A Glock is a Glock? No.

Say the G19 .... In black it's OK.... Same gun in Flat dark earth could be a no go unless you filed for it.

at this point Glock is simply refusing to play the game .... The acid test is if they let the existing SKU 's roll off the list without renewing them.

I'd kinda like the industry to boycott California sale too.... But the way the collective operated that could backfire .

( for the record.... I'm about 5 miles away by mule and 14 by road and have interests in the Placerville area)

You could just step back and let them legislate themselves into oblivion. While the 2nd amendment friendly states are having less crime the enemies of the 2nd are having rampant crime, spending buttloads of money to try and stop it and wondering why it isn't working.
In other words let them pull the handle to flush their selves down the toilet they have created.

The back problem is that the anti-gunners have won in Calif.

They know the manufacturers can't produce them at a price that the every day person can afford.

Back door gun ban in simplicity.

I haven't read the law and don't care to, but firing pins wear out and break under normal range use by people that actually shoot their guns. Do these ****tards, sorry Libtards, not realize firing pins on most firearms get replaced periodically?

You don't think "they" know that?

So now you have to buy a FFL, CalDOJ, EPA approved replacment firing pin from a guy named Murray over in Bishop on Tuesdays between 11 and 2 - or be a felon. California is not (never has) gonna make this "easy". When they get done, Carl ...in San Jose will have to test the new pin and register the results...

See... the reason this should be important to you is.... (and grouse all you want) California is the 6th largest economy in the world and like it or not- some how, some way, your doing business with them some how. There politicians have National Clout because of this. Their ideas gain traction with like minded people- some who reside in YOUR state.

The last 6 years should be a wake up call to you .... we NOW HAVE "CALIFORNIA" in the White House.

Yep. Maybe two passes to be "safe".

What I want to know is what happens when brass picked up off of a range gets dropped at a crime scene? Probably 100 other reasons why this won't work.
I've seen guys in several states pick up brass just for that reason.

A firing pin leaves a signature already... and most forensic people will tell you that the extractor claw is a very positive indication of a match. That fired case is shipped with many new pistols... in Mass you have to send it to the state for there files.

Sorry... do police work the old fashioned way. Tie the shooter to the crime... tie the shooter to the gun... tie the evidence to the gun- in that order. Micro stamps will not replace good old shoe leather police work.

Crime prevention is not what this is about.
