Where can you get them at a walk-in retailer? I haven't seen a case of shotshells since before I had any interest in buying shotshells by the case.

This close to dove season, Academy usually sells the dove loads by the case, but with this stupid crap going on with ammo right now, all bets are off.

I was at academy on Sunday. They had a pallet of Rio 7.5 1oz shot cases. $5.49/box or $54.90/case. Same price for the estate 1oz shot. The Remington heavy dove load is on sale this week for $64.90/case. They had plenty at the Academy on 63rd & NW Expressway yesterday. I've never shot the rio or estate so I can't speak to its reliability, however I have shot the Remington without any problems.

I just stopped by Rogers Sporting Goods in Kansas City on my way back to OKC. That place is the mecca of shotgun shells. I bought 10 cases of AA's and the have me the rebate forms at the counter and the two girls working there were cute.

Next year I'm buying a pallet!

I bought a case of 12 ga shells at Academy last month. Remington sure shot for $75/case. Things are returning to normal for shotgun shells.

You're gonna need a class of elementary school kids to cut all those barcodes out.

Nooooo!!!! I just got done doing my rebate form, the Academy I buy from never had cases!
Yeah, they can't put the barcode on the flap - has to be on the side of the box. 20 boxes worth of slicing that off and I'm done.....

grrrrr......
