What y'all carrying your shotty with plus 9 tube in? Haven't found any decent cases yet that long? I'd prefer something like my voodoo rifle bag that has lots of storage.... Mines a hair over 53"

The longest Beretta Greenstone Case they make. It will hold my XRail and my Tac Optics gun with the long dong tubes on them. DOn't buy off the beretta site. Search around as they will be under $50 elsewhere.

Anybody using the 54" MidWay double drag bag? Looks like it might also work well.

according to TSA, drag bags are a no go

"Travelers may only transport UNLOADED firearms in a locked, hard-sided container in or as checked baggage. All firearms, ammunition and firearm parts, including firearm frames and receivers, are prohibited in carry-on baggage."
I wasn't going to put my guns in a soft case and hand it to TSA. Jesus can you imagine what you would get in return?
You put the guns in the bag and then put them in your hard case. Or you put the guns in foam in the hard case and pack the soft case in your luggage to use at the match.

Probably a pile of metal shavings and nylon dust!

Please update us on the midway bag if you purchase it. I just started looking for a double bag and this looks decent for the price compared to other double gun bags on the market right now all being about 130-200 bucks.

Let us know how that 56" pans out please. Maybe perfect for flying to matches.

I wish I would have seen that Midway bag before I bought my shotgun case. It's a Beretta and is right at 54" long. Works nice with +9 tube but a double bag would have been better

Due to the evolution of my reloading methods of my SG, the tube now holds 12 and the guns OAL is just over 53". I got one of the 56" Midway double drag bags last week and had the chance to use it over the weekend. It easily holds all 3 guns with room to spare. My only knock on the case is the supplied hold down straps for the long guns are not in the best location for my set-up. They held the guns OK, but I will probably move them to another location in the case to better balance the case while carrying it around.
I think the case will be fine to transport my gear except when a weather resistant/tougher one is required, because it won't fit inside my Pelican case. If I need to do that, I'll have to remove the magazine tube and put it all back in the 46" case that does fit the Pelican or dig out my old hard-sided golf bag carrier that you could fit a small Kansas or big Oklahoma deer inside. :)

Can you post a picture of your guns in the case?
