recreate some arrays from stages that made you think you might want to shoot moving.
Time them both ways.

Hello,
I recently followed a course on shooting on the move, I share just the information I have retained. It is best not to take care of her foot or leg, just focus on are shot. It should be down the center of gravity and perform small step with the foot pointing in the direction of travel. If your "gun" moves too much is that you still have to get your position or go slower. We should not have to start thinking about the position of the foot or the perfect time to shoot. your upper body should be in the same position as in a static shot. good luck.

Have you guys seen his youtube channel? They know how to make a stage in Belgium!

Is the trench coat an RO requirement or was that guy shooting IDPA

I'll try some of these things although, I don't have access to a railroad cart. I haven't incorporated shooting while walking or running in to any of my drills until I had a concept of a good technique.

AWESOME! I wish we had some stuff like that.

OP: I think the best way to get better at shooting on the move is to practice.

There are two types of shooting while moving in what we do:

1. Shooting at targets avail while between positions

2. Shooting into and out of positions

Something you hear a lot about GM/M shooters is that they "never stop moving". They start shooting as soon as targets are available and move through a position (like a port) or "slice the pie" into or out of a position. The movement can be small sometimes depending on the position or the difficulty of the targets but its there most of the time. This IMO is something that can improve everyone's stage times as long as you are getting your points while doing it.

Shooting at targets while moving between positions can be very rewarding and very dangerous. You have to get a feel for whether it is advantagous to you to shoot while moving or to just plant and get it done before hauling ass to the next position. This comes from practice or experience knowing what your skill level is, and is always dictated by the distance and difficulty of the targets. If you decided to do it, just remember to get low and stay low. Use those legs as shock absorbers and try to keep your upper body stable like the turrent on a tank. Stay off the balls of your feet and move with a heel/toe step.

We should start a resource pool to do things like this. People with money could buy supplies, people with skills could put them together into something exciting. Etc.

Unfortunately it is not in Belgium, we have no range outside for IPSC. To get out we need to go to our neighbors. This match was the most fun of the season, the designers have really good placement, it was a few kilometers from the main airport of Paris in France. 10 courses, 276 shot fired in half a day with a bonus stage by 47 shots. But we have not had any luck, the final placements were in the rain. One vidéo from friends just 2 stage was not show, cycling and the plane, very fun.

Sorry for the change of subject. But as LuckyDucky said the main thing is practice, and not wanting to draw target too far. The key to using the shooting on the move during match is able to analyze a course relative to its level, every shot does not shoot on the move.
