Darn the rain - as hot as it has been (and as hot as it was today) you would have thought that the range would be bone dry, but that was not the case.
Duncan had a downpour Saturday night and we could not use Bays 2,3,4. But we turned the walkway into a long bay and shot a standard style classifier. As most of you know (who have shot here before) if it is wet on the SCRAP range then it is a little rough to set up a match. Be assured that if the range is "muddy" we will post a cancellation on the webpage - sometimes Duncan gets bypassed with the storms and the range is just fine!
Work on the new competition bays to the south is coming along good - 4 bays (deep 100 yds and wide over 30 yds) - will keep you informed as progress proceeds.
Thanks to all that showed up to shoot/help with the match. If anyone has ideas on stages let us know and we will try to set them up.
