We had 16 shooters and 21 guns; not bad for a late notice, unscheduled match.
The weather turned out great.
Thanks to Jack Ostendorf for letting us use the scheduled bays at the range, and for sharing our match notice. 2 IDPA shooters showed up to our match.
Kevin Toothman took PI, Chris Lowers came in first in RFPI, and Pat Lemons won RFRO.
This was Amber Langley's 1st PI Steel Challenge match; she did well.
Thanks to IDPA shooters Richard and Errol for giving our Steel Challenge match a shot. I hope you guys had a good time, and come back to our next match.
We ran a secondary match. 5 strings, but only the best score counted. (Since I'm keeping the scores,) Kevin Toothman took it, and gets to shoot for free at our next match. By the way, Kevin uses his own guns. He is the gunsmith at USSA and builds some of the best guns anywhere (certainly the best I have ever seen.) You should check hem out.

Lots of steel shooting left this month.
This Saturday 11-15-14 is our monthly ProAm match at Oil Capita (it might be a bit cold; no biggie, just wear enough layers, and remember we have a heated room to warm up if needed.) Keep an eye for the match notice later today.
Our scheduled monthly Steel Challenge match is on Sunday 11-23-14
I would like to have an even on Black Friday 11-28-14. If I cannot get authorization from the board to do so, we will have a ProAm match at USSA, or a practice session at Oil Capital. will keep you posted.
November has a 5th Sunday, 11-30-14 which means ProAm.
