Today, Mark Sanford won a runoff in district 1. Aside from knowing about his vacation in South America with his now fiance, I don't know that much about him. I kinda liked what I read about Bostic, but I guess it's between him and the comedian's sister. I've asked Elizabeth Colbert Busch twice to tell me about her views on the 2A, but have received nothing in response yet. I suppose I wasn't expecting much. So, what's Sanford's story (aside from not being able to keep it in his pants).

Just another typical career politician from my opinion, one who used my hard earned money to not keep it in his pants. Bostic was my choice but doesn't matter now.

Aside from that bit of infidelity, Sanford, IMO, was a pretty decent governor.

Sanford has my vote.....I vote all republican in all elections irregardless of what they do....Anyhing is preferable to a democrat........Look at what we have as a president for example.

He is not my president, I don't claim him.
I am ASHAMED of him.
If I live to be 100 I will not get over him bowing to a Saudi.
His wife is ashamed of this country.
This country is going the way of Detroit.

Frost are you posting in the right thread?

Edit: nevermind. thanks fordnut, missed the last part of panzer's post

Paco...if you will read the last sentance of the post above Frost's...you will see where he mentions the president...That is why Frost posted what he did...

He likes the president about as much as I do...

"Anyhing is preferable to a democrat........Look at what we have as a president for example"..............................Please note that I wasn't saying anything nice about "the" president.

I still can't get my head around how he got re elected.

That's pretty simple - Romney was hopeless :)

Seems like they weeded all the sane republican candidates out really early. When you're left with a Pizza Magnate, Dude Who Can't Count to Three, the Grinch, and Richie-rich, no wonder.

Huntsman sounded sane, and professional.

What I've read of Colbert-Busch so far sounds pretty moderate, but she hasn't sounded off on a lot of the issues I'm interested in yet, so I'll hold off.

Personally, I think that if you actively *want* a political position - that should be the first disqualifier, regardless of other issues.

Conversations like this reinforce my decision years ago to stop voting.

Same elephant dung, different day. Everything gets worse and nothing ever gets better. Taxes increase, Rights are dissolved and new, totalitarian laws are emplaced.

Good job Republicans. Good job Democrats.

She may sound moderate, but she has cleaned out her tweeter timeline and deleted lots of non-moderate stuff. Of course, the internets are forever :)
