Here's what I call the "Grey Ghost." Yes, those are Brand "W" grips; you can find everything on eBay, which is where I found the black Ruger medallions. I chose these grips for a project using another blank Ruger slide, but I'm thinking to go a different direction with that project. So, here they are.

Aaaand...my first SR1911. Those are genuine ivory grips from the fellow who supplied them to Colt It's a very early production pistol.
 
Have a SR1911 full size model #6700. I had the slide cerakoted black and changed the grips to polymer Hogue/Ruger grips to copy a Lipsey model (#6700C) that was offered for a little while.

Have owned a couple of Commander units (a lightweight and a standard) but sold both of them. Never warmed up to the Commander style.
