Range time

Had a blast today we probably went through 700/800 rounds of 5.45x39 through my buddy's AR. 300 rounds through my 7.62x39 AR 200 rounds of 5.56 and 100 of 7.62x54r.
There were two old Marine vets there who let me shoot their M1 Garand and M14. That's probably the coolest part of the day shooting something new you weren't expecting to. I've been wanting a Garand but now I'm thinking I want the M14 too.

Went to sharpshoters in greenville today... 10 deep and a full range. Greenville has three indoor ranges and a 10 deep waiting list  needless to say did not shoot. At least looks like lots of new shooters about :) I miss shooting out side.

Fun indeed, but picking up pieces of computer from a 75 yard circle around the blast area is no fun, lol.

Got phone calls from 6 people asking if it was me blowing elephant dung up again, lol. Farthest one was my sister about 1.5 miles away from where we were.

Went out to Twin Ponds today. WOW great job on the clean up, I almost didn't recognize the place. I seen alot folks getting the idea, about taking their stuff off the range when finished. Maybe just that particular crowd. It was real busy by the time I left. Took the AR-9 out for an hour of fun, put 500 rds down range, the mags are startin to work themselves in.
WOO-HOO!

Going out to Boggy Head Saturday morning, despite the expected light rain, anyone else shooting this weekend?

Good time. Almost no rain at all. Put a couple hundred through the AR and about 100 through the PT-111.

Yep, no worries. She's not real young, Army combat vet. Seen stuff someone her age should never have to see, but she did her job, got out and is now a nursing student...and a top notch shooter.
