New to this "group" and I am an old fart. Got my first 1911 in 1973 for the princely sum (then) of $65. It was an argentine Colt with DGFM on slide. Barrel, slide, frame and mag all have same serial #. Next year I went crazy and bought a gold cop national match for $135. It shoots like a dream. I still have a few boxes of Rem 1969 national match ammo that shoots great.
