So, I have 2 sets of stag grips. One seems to be much better quality, so replacing one of them. Going with ram horns, looked cool, something different. Don't see many of them in the forums. Will see how they feel.

Had to look up ram horn grips. Never heard of them. Very Sweet.
I've always had the Pachmeyer grip on my govt model. It has no checkering so the rubber wraparound is something that once you are used to it, it just wouldn't feel like my baby anymore without it.
Putting ram horn grips on my 1911 would be like putting a tux on a . . . well . . . no sense bad mouthing my baby.
It looks like it went through a 40 year war. Summer sweat since 1981.
Those grips are beautiful.

A box from West Texas showed up a day early. Now, do I put them on the Colt or my RO? Probably the Colt.

They look like they have a good grip surface. Is it as rough as it looks?

dang phone.

Not real rough. A little smoother than stag. Will see how they feel on a gun later. Look pretty cool to me.

Kinda liking this.
