ProAm match this Saturday 7-18-15 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club.

The board has agreed to let us set up our targets the way we have run them in the past (this is great new regarding spatter and ricochets.)

Signup starts at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am.
$20 to shoot, $15 for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. (Maybe $5 for a second gun, but depending on number of shooters.)

Divisions: Center fire pistol iron sights, center fire pistol open, revolver, rimfire pistol iron sights, rimfire pistol optics, rimfire rifle iron sights, rimfire rifle optics.

All dropping steel targets.
We will have a secondary match with a couple of tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker.
Will have COFs later this week.
Always looking for ideas of stage design, so stage suggestions are always welcome.
Anybody interested in having the one on one stage, let me know.

Got a stage suggestion? Send it this way.
Round count will be around 200.

Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.

Anybody interested in participating with a 9, 40, or 45 carbine is welcome to do so (no necked cartridges.)

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match, but no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

As always, we have plaques for 1st place winners.

Directions to OCR&GC: http://www.ocrgc.com/?q=node/44

Hope to see you at the range.

Since 2 of the stages we shot last month were new, I thought it would be good to shoot them again.
So I am keeping all 4 ProAm stages the same, but changed to tie breaker stages.
Because of the temperature, I will not set up the one on one, unless you guys want to replace one of the ProAm stages (we will stick to 6 stages max.) Let me know.

Several of you have asked me about an earlier start. It takes me 5 hours to set up the stages, and 4:30 is as early as I am willing to start. Plus, we usually have guys driving from out of town. For now, we will stick to our standard sign up and starting times (any help setting up is always welcome.)

After shooting Marvin's last month a few times, I am planning on brining a 9mm carbine my father in law is going to let me borrow; man, those things are fun (remember, no necked cartridge on these.)

And it looks like several of you will be showin up with shotguns.

Still open to suggestions on stage design.
