ProAm match this Saturday 2-21-15 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club.
Signup starts at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am.
And Steel Challenge the day after!

$15 to shoot, $10 for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. (Maybe $5 for a second gun, but depending on number of shooters.)

Divisions: Center fire pistol iron sights, center fire pistol open, revolver, rimfire pistol iron sights, rimfire pistol optics, rimfire rifle iron sights, rimfire rifle optics, and shotgun.

All dropping steel targets. We will have a secondary match with 2 tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker. Or, might have a one on one drag race instead.

Got a stage suggestion? Send it this way. I am thinking of running the same stages we shot last time.
Round count will be around 200.

Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.

Anybody interested in participating with a 9, 40, or 45 carabine is welcome to do so (good idea Tony Wall.)

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match, but no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

As always, we have plaques for 1st place winners.

Directions to OCR&GC: http://www.ocrgc.com/?q=node/44

Hope to see you at the range.

Uhm...
The weather forecast for Saturday calls for a 100% chance of rain.
I am not canceling the match yet, but keep an eye out for future posts tomorrow and Friday with updates.

The weather for Saturday is looking much better.
The rain chance has gone down from 100% to 30%
And with a high of 54deg, our match is still a go!

Hope to see you at the range

The weather forecast is now calling for no rain, and a high of 54
Perfect

I saw a video of a steel match in Arizona that Jesse posted on boomershooter.com
So we are going to try a version of this stage.
Since I have messed up on the No So Fast stage twice now, we are going to try it for a third time.
Batter UP is one of our favortie ones, so we'll give it a try again.
Rick's T is a mean one with weak and strong had targets, and I want anothe shot a it.
So here is what we will be shooting
See att'd.

Hope to see you tomorrow at the range.
