ProAm match this Saturday 1-17-15 at Oil Capital Rod & Gun Club.
Signup starts at 9:30am, and shooting at 10:00am.

$15 to shoot, $10 for OC members, and as always, free of charge to LEOs and active military. (Maybe $5 for a second gun, but depending on number of shooters.)

Divisions: Center fire pistol iron sights, center fire pistol open, revolver, rimfire pistol iron sights, rimfire pistol optics, rimfire rifle iron sights, rimfire rifle optics, and shotgun.

All dropping steel targets. We will have a secondary match with 2 tactical stages for sequencing purposes as well. These will serve as our tie breaker. Or, might have a one on one drag race instead.

Got a stage suggestion? Send it this way. I am thinking of running the same stages we shot last time.
Round count will be around 200.

Lots of movement and reloads, but still 22 friendly.

Anybody interested in participating with a 9, 40, or 45 carabiner is welcome to do so (good idea Tony Wall.)

If you are in good shape, we will greatly appreciate any help tearing down after the match, but no pressure if you want to leave or can't help.

As always, we have plaques for 1st place winners.

This is what I was thinking for stages.
No standard tactical stages, but a single all dropping targets on the clock stage. And of course, a One on One drag race stage, which we would start with.
But again, I am open to any stage ideas you guys have, even if it is mean and cruel like the single-hand stage Rick made us do at the last match. So send your suggestions over and see what we can come up with.

I know we had an issue with a few spatter/ricochets flying overhead on our last match. I'm keeping that that in mind and rearrangeing all targets in a way that they are directly facing the shooter box, or next to a berm.

Also, have you looked at the weather forcast for Saturday? Yes, 57! Even Derrick might come out for this one.
