If there's no desire to look at the ratio of 1 entry per 5 matches, I do have one suggestion.
Please don't take this as a criticism. It's just something I thought of while looking at the final entry matrix.
It would be nice if there were a way to make sure people's entries are separated by at least 10-15 spots on the final numbered list.
When someone has two of their entries listed close to one another, it decreases the value of the entries.
Let's say there are 10 high value items on the prize table. In theory, each of your entries gives you 10 chances to win one of those items under this system. So if any of your numbers are separated by fewer than 10 spots, you lose chances to win.
One example from this year is Micah Rowe. He had entries 220, 221 and 223. Instead of 30 chances to win one of the 10 high value items, he would have 13 chances. He could have shot 10 fewer matches with pretty much the same odds of winning a high value item.
Of course, it's always easy to make suggestions that result in more work for someone else. So let me say that I'd be happy to help set up the list next year to make sure that entries are separated by at least 10-15 spaces.
Just an idea.
