My neighbor's daughter, 10 yrs of age, was born with Downs Syndrome. She's a delightful child with a sense of humor, and she's very courageous. Never complains.
She's had a heart operation, an eye operation, a cervical vertebrae issue, leukemia, two years of chemo, and now a relapse of leukemia. A couple of evenings ago, her body rejected whatever the doctors put into her, and in the midst of her pain, she apologized to her mom.
If her current chemo does not work, she has one last hope, at the Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia with a new treatment. Her name is Tamara.
Prayers would be appreciated.
