I am really wanting to shoot 3 gun at this months match. I'm trying to get ready and get the courage to do so. In preparing I have the pistol, rifle, shotgun, ammo, taccom dual loads (on the way), etc...I think all the gear required though it may not be ideal I think it should work. My biggest thing is trying to get practice time in. I plan to practice the loading in the house to familiarize myself with dropping deuces. But the big kicker for me is I have been able to shoot my rifle one time at 100 yards...and the shotty not a round! Where in the heck in the okc area can I at least shoot the shotgun a few times??
I get to shoot one match a month so would like for that to be 3 gun. This is kind of my time to get away and just have a good time. Does this seem premature or should I practice more before coming out? Any help as to where or how to practice in the okc area is greatly appreciated! Thx.

I know a guy in Guthrie that has a private range that would be more than happy to help you check your zero and shoot a few rounds with you and give you a 30 minute safety run down.

Shoot me a PM.

I coach my little girls softball team and high school baseball is starting up so life is about to get busier for me, but if you are interested in coming down to Chickasha I can show you what I do as far as practice.

I have some steel that we can shoot & repaint so you can see what your shotgun pattern looks like and a large piece of steel you can shoot slugs at.

I have 99 things to do but can almost always make time to shoot.

Offer is on the table if interested PM me.

As far as 3gun just show up and shoot it.

This thread just shows how great the shooting community and shooting sports is as a whole. When highly regarded shooters invite you to practice with them at their own range, that is a community I want to be a part of. Pretty cool guys.

I could not agree more! Anytime I have ever contacted Jesse or anyone from BS for that matter they have been extremely helpful. I know guys have far better things to do then deal with new guys and their questions or concerns...but they always help. Proud to be a part of this community!

Agreed. I just told my husband this exact thing. Top shooters are very helpful. It is really nice and welcoming.
