Practical Shotgun @Red Dirt Range Sunday July 21st

It was a great match! I hadn't picked up my shotgun in a few months and wow it showed. Did a couple decent loads and the rest were all shitty with letting it run dry and then fumbling shells and forgetting to position the shotgun right for loading. Going to have to practice a little before the next one.

I relieved everybody else by coming in last... I think Jesse was first and Chris second. Don't remember everybody in between.

I only got five stages on video. There were some great stages. I missed getting the one where we had to crawl under a log on video. The third stage in the video was where we had to shoot from the hip. elephant dung that was hard! I should have put an open choke in.

Congrats to Jake Burki The World's Fastest Shotgun Loader. The stage description was gun on target off safe, on beep shoot one, load 8, shoot one more. Big poppers at 12 yards. Jake crushed us by dropping the big deuce with a 4.53.

The stages that went into the woods were the best. Very hard and fun.

Fun match. The woods stages were a blast, but the fast stages with the clays thrown by hitting the steel was probably one of my favorites.

this was my stage to lose. I fumbled both grabs. and practice after the match I didn't have a single run over four seconds!

that's the way it goes.

The no shoots were originally scored as double the penalties at 20 points on tat last stage. I have fixed that and reported the scores.
