Wind chill will be a little lower (down to near less than a hundred), but we'll still keep the match at 5 stages, just to beat the heat a little and get to Gringo's sooner. But a great 5 stages it will be.
Round count is 139, with plenty of fun action. Classifier is CM 06-03, Can You Count. Twenty real quick rounds, close and personal, but Virginia Count. Boudreaux Strikes Back is a stage we've shot a couple times in the past, but lots of fun, with the Star, 2 swingers, 2 clam shells, and lots of possible shooting options as you make your way down the narrow path. Just 2 Walls looks simple, but 31 rounds on the stage, with only 4 paper targets, means lots of Mike's on the steel to up the number of rounds needed. No Shoots Galore will have plenty of white tape standing by for those that get in a hurry, and Blue Barrel Polka is a "Stand 'n Shoot" with lots of barrels in the way.
Sign in on Sunday at the River Range at 0930, shooters meeting at 1000, then the gun fight begins. Come play guns with us.

Had a great time at the Match today. The heat was not bad as it cooled off just after we picked up all the targets. The revo squad was really competitve today and all three of us were real close on all the stages so giving Chris that bad primer to reload paid off for me and the other Roger. I felt like I burned down the classifier today but only got 77% of the HHF, and that was with a 0.79 second first hit from a draw. Whats does I gots to do to move up? Huh? Oh yea practice. later rdd

it was a pretty fun match... honestly even todays short match is way more challenging then a lot of the local matched i attend..

Today's match at Old Fort is the first pistol match I've shot there. It was every bit as good as the 3 gun matches that they put on! All of us from OKC were very impressed and happy that we made the drive out. Here is my match video...
