Oklahoma City 3Gun match THIS saturday, Feb 27th

Burk didn't shoot last month so he doesn't know.

Last month's rule was All guns had to be completely empty before grounding, nothing in the chamber & no mag in the pistol or rifle & no shells in the shotgun tube.
Fair enough if that was the rule. Just seems odd, but if that's what was stated, that's cool

It wasn't so bad.
It kinda forced a little bit of aiming with the shotgun since you didn't want to load any extra.
I think I had maybe 2 make ups with the shotgun for the whole match.

That's about 2 less than normal, so.....

Fun match. I sucked at loading a shotgun. Life is hard. Thanks for putting on a great match guys.

This was my first trip to OKCGC and now I wonder why I waited so long. Great match, great squad. Thanks, guys!

Good shooting with you today Mark. Glad that rifle we hammered together in my garage ran well.

I wanted to opine on why we had the unloaded rule last month. We hade two stages that we had to go down range of dump barrels. More and more, we see folks wanting to help by removing guns from dump barrels before the shooter has finished the stage. It was either make it mandatory for the stage or two, or make it easier and make it a blanket rule. Also, if you would travel to some of the bigger matches, this may be required, so exposing our shooters to that is good for everyone.
