OKCGC July 2016 Steel Challenge-Sat 7/16/16

IT'S TIME TO SHOOT SOME STEEL!!!!!

Steel challenge is a great way to way to keep the fundamentals sharp for the more experienced shooters or to introduce new & Jr. shooters to the shooting sports.


Registration:
At the clubhouse starting at around 9:30

We're planning on 6 stages, 5 strings each, 5 targets per string.
Approx. 150 Min. Round Count

Rimfire:
Pistol/Rifle (no tube fed rifles)

Centerfire:
Pistol Caliber Only (Carbines must be 9mm/40/45acp)


Divisions:
Rimfire Open
Rimfire Irons

Centerfire Open
Centerfire Limited
Centerfire Revolver

Rimfire Rifle Open
Rimfire Rifle Irons

PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine/Optics & Irons-same as USPSA)



10AM start time [sign-in will start about 9:30]
Setup will begin Sat. at 8:30 & all help is appreciated

$15 for club members, $20 for non-members, $5 for a second gun (2 guns max)
$5 for the kiddos.

Dammit! That Matt Rigsby guy whupped my ass in Pistol. We battled back and forth all match until smoke and hope. I think he did something to my ammo or gun or something.
Maybe it was the passing taco gas upwind right at the beep to start the stage. Dunno.

Funny thing is, I beat you by 3 seconds on pistol, and you beat me by 3 seconds on rifle.... even though I was shooting a 9mm vs your wimpy Lil .22

Good lord man! I could make a count of three before your round hit the stop plate on one stage. Wimpy rounds on my part? Watched the Bullet impact just fall off the steel. Bet I could have picked them up and reloaded them.
I'm falling back on the taco gas synopsis. Eye glasses fogging, scope blurr, etc.
