well it looks like oil capitol will no longer be having a uspsa match.

just a reminder that we will NOT be shooting the 4th Saturday this month, however we WILL return to it in January. Also another significant announcement is that Oil Capital IDPA will be shooting TWO dates each month, starting in January. We’ll continue with the 4th Saturday and will add the 2nd Sunday. Shooters have been asking “where can we shoot on Sunday’s”. Starting January, the 8th to be exact, we’ll shoot the same general program, i.e. about 6 stages for about 100 required rounds. Spread the word, especially to those you know who simply do not have a Saturday match as an option.

It really is sad that this match is gone. This USPSA match was really good less than a year ago and was one that I shot each and every month. I think that the guy that ran this one into the ground got exactly what he wanted. Fortunately there are other matches that are going strong to fill this void.
