Damm! I got out of breath just watching all of the running. Big stages.
Saw a couple of malfunctions on the AR. Mag related?

Wide open stages looks like some of those targets were way out there! Howd you do?

That has to be the longest video I have ever had. Very fun match with lots of variety except no hoser rifle shooting.

The rifle in shooting is a DPMS LR308 with all the go fast JP parts installed. I can't wait until Stag puts out their .308 in 2013!!! I have been having FTE and it's getting worse. I think the extractor is bad. Got a new one and an entire new DPMS bolt on its way.

I shot a pretty good match only one no shoot that I picked up the miss on and two foot fault oricedutaks which were me being dumb. The rifle malfunctions cost me a good 30 seconds of not 60. I cleared jams in every stage.

As far as how I finished its a not so funny story. I knew things were close between myself and Scott McGregor who shoots for FMG Publications and Colt Competition. When they announced my name they had me in second place. I was totally bummed but very happy for a good buddy in Scott. I really needed the 100 3 gun nation divisional series points from this match to take the Heavy Optics Division lead and put myself in the drivers seat to win the $5k from Hornady. So I managed to go get myself good and sloppy trying to decide if it was worth shooting more heavy. I awoke the next morning with a killer hangover to find a message from the MD am telling me to call him ASAP for something important. I make the call to find out that the stats folks messed up the scores and instead of losing by 1 points or so I actually won by 1 point or So. I was elated but at thecsanectine completely numbered for my buddy Scott. Turns out they read the winner off the overalls at the awards presentation which had Scott ahead of me. When the MD pulled up the divisions to print and post them he saw I was the winner. Bitter sweet weekend for sure.

Morale of the story is never give up on a stage. One second or one hit can mean the difference between winning and losing or just getting a better prize from the table.

Looked like some pretty long range shots too. Its pretty sweet you did so well with a malfunctioning gun. Imagine where you would of been with zero malfunctions.

350 was the furthest shot. I struggled with the 350 & 250 since I haven't ever practiced anything but 100, 200, & 300 with my .308.

I need to get my Rifke running and get out to practice long range before rocky mountain in a couple weeks.

Nice! I'd have trouble keeping the course of fire straight on those stages, not to mention hitting anything.
