The shotgun only match we had scheduled for this Saturday OKCGC is called due to this horrid storm that will hit here Thursday-sat.
Spread the word. We will see about a shotgun only March early next year.

To me, an all shotgun match sounds dull. There are already such sports; trap and skeet. These will teach you more shotgunning skills in my opinion, and my opinion is not worth much on this forum.

I thought I would enjoy 3 gun more than I have. I have found shooting the shotgun like a rifle not very much fun or challenging, except to reload as fast as possible. That is hard, and not much fun.

These are just my experiences and I know many others really like the venue. So I am not judging you guys or putting you down.

I shoot trap, skeet, 5 stand and sporting clays, mostly for hunting practice. I started shooting shotgun only matches this year with the Nordic Shotgun Championship. It was awesome. I would rather shoot an all shotgun match than anything else. If you can't afford 3 gun, build a shotgun and run all shotgun matches. It is a great way to get started and a ton of fun.

Not boring at all, just a different sport with its own set of challenges. I've shot it & can't say it's easy.

It's not boring just not as exciting. It takes a lot less time then a match but it totally sucks not being able to make up any shots.

Hey Jesse, have you considered testosterone reduction therapy? A side effect is it shrinks one's ego as well, which can be positive and/or negative. Everything is relative; I think Einstein wrote that.
