Nikon ProStaff 7 2.5-10X50 Quick Focus Riflescope

I am looking at getting this scope for an M1A. I plan to use it for hunting. Are there any other scopes i should look at close to this price? I thought about a Strike Eagle but i have space for a big objective. Price is $330. Jesse, can i code for Optics Planet if you see this? I will pm you if you dont.

I have not used a Vortex, so take my review with that in mind.
I have a 3X9X44 Pro staff Nikon on my Savage Smokeless Muzzle loader.
I shoot a 250 grain Hornady SST that reaches 2400 fps. That is the same weight and velocity of the .416 Rigsby elephant gun. It hurts to shoot.
Owed the gun for 10 years or so now. It was sighted in 10 years ago and has not lost its zero to date.
The Nikon has the same no questions asked warranty that the Vortex does. I sent in a Nikon Monarch that was broken in half with no receipt. They replaced it with a brand new scope.
Broke a set of binocs, they repaired them and actually send a report back where they had calibrated the lenses.
There are some decent scopes out there, and Vortex is gaining a great reputation.
