I do not feel a need for a nightstand safe, no kids in my house in the past eleven years, no plans on having kids in the house ever. Single Family dwelling, just the wife and I, never anyone but the rare workman in there for plumbing, electric or whatever. Guns policed up and put away for those times.
I do keep a couple of Charter Arms revolvers on the stand, a 40 S&W and a 45 ACP, Pitbull's.
