Newbie From Summerville - Long Distance Shooter

Just stumbled across this board --- From Summerville --- Avid Shooter --- Always trying to perfect my long distance skills but it's hard to find 300 - 600 yard ranges in the area, my only option is occasionally imposing on a friend from Ridgeville who owns 90 acres... Would love to hear what everyone else does for their LD practice...

Also would like to try some hog hunting this year, so if anyone has some recommendations, please send them my way...

Welcome. I love long range shooting but unless you join the Palmetto Gun Club or know someone you can shoot with who is a member, you may be stuck imposing on your friend. I'd rather know someone myself with land like that but don't so no long range for me for now.
What rifle are you shooting?

Maybe your friend can let some of your 'friends' shoot with you on his property ???

Yeah, I have only had the opportunity to shoot beyond 100 yards once in my life. I was amazed I hit the target all 5 shots as we were sitting on the ground with no rest and no scope.

As said before, I only know of the Palmetto Gun Club having a range with any distance to it.
