Hello all,

My name is Ryan. I recently moved here from Pittsburgh, PA and know just about no one. I used to shoot up there with a few buddies but nothing real serious. I would like to get into some beginner shooter type competitions to get my feet wet. I used to have a Glock 23 but recently traded it in on a Police Model 1200 Winchester Shotgun. Kind of think I shouldn't have traded it but I want a Glock in .45 ACP for factory class carry competitions. I have a Para Ordnance LDA CCO in .45 and I prefer the recoil characteristics of .45 ACP over .40 S&W which is why I got rid of the 23, and because every man needs a shotgun.

Anywho, I've also got a .270 Mossberg ATR and a Winchester Police Model 1200 shotgun mentioned above. I live in a burb of Tulsa and would like to meet some shooters up this way.

Look forward to learning all I can from the forum and meeting some new people.

Welcome to the forum Ryan, take the time to read through the threads hear and fell free to post in any of them, or start a new one. I am not into competition but there are a few guys on here that are real big into competitions, I am sure they will tell you everything that you want to know.

I see that you are wanting a Glock in .45ACP, IIRC there is someone in the classifieds here that is selling one, I think it is a G21 SF

Welcome to the board. Get out to a match at Oil Capital or USSA. There are plenty of matches in the Tulsa area.
