Looking to find some help and guidance to find the best .22 rifle within a decent budget ($300).
I'm building my own AR, but would really like a decent hunting rifle that I can upgrade later.
Is anyone familiar with PA laws? I've got 3 prior DUI's after I got out of the service (all felonies, no misdemeanors... about 8 years ago...would that blacklist me from hunting rifles?).
Thanks in advance and good hunting to you all,
Jim

Not familiar with Pa. Laws.
Its tough to beat a Ruger 10-22 to stay in your price range. Lots of accessories to upgrade it as funds become available.

Federal law I believe.
What he said. It's another felony charge for possession after former conviction of a felony. Depending on what the charges were, you may be able to get an attorney and get your record expunged and get your rights restored.

^^^^^^correct. If its non-violent, some states are getting pretty lenient about this.
