I'll caution you..1911's are like potato chips..hard to stop after you have your 1st one.
A full size Govt. model (45), then a Commander size 9mm is a fair start.
and I'd suggest looking a 1911's from BUL Armory , for the best bang for you $.. (my opinion / experience)
