We only started using MSG in our food we cooked recently.
It was in the 80s yesterday so time for a cookout.
What I noticed about the tater salad was just how good it was, this same Potato salad I have been eating for over 50 years.

The Wife made the PS so I asked her if she added any MSG. She said yes. It's the best PS I ever made she said, with a wink.
You could be sensitive to MSG however with it in so many products to day, I would think you would know by now.

It's has perked up our dishes so much, I wonder why I never used it before.

I think MSG is great in sauces, and mixed stuff like Potato salad!

I love red potato salad in the Summer - might be time to bring it out.

I'm curious Mike - ever tried potato salad with bell pepper instead of pickles (if you put that in yours?). Talk about something addicting, the bell peppers fresh from the garden is a real treat, especially in the summer!

I've been watching spud man, but I'm like beans? are the beans like just baked beans from heinz? I've never seen those in the store, but I'm willing to try them.

Also, you know in the South, our love language starts with the basics, BUTTER being the cornerstone :)

I'm putting a pork butt on the weber tomorrow - I made a bbq sauce out of apples, and pineapple along with some spicy peppers.

Also made some strawberry and jalapeno jam tonight, still cooking as I try not to add pectin etc to it due to an intolerance.
