I'm thinking I'll be moving to Limited for 2014, (in the unlikely event I don't win the SA Rangemaster), to better align my USPSA and 3 Gun shooting. I'm thinking PistolGear magwell, and some adjustable sights. Any recommendations as to mag extentions, or other stuff I need to consider? XDm .40 4.5"
Thanks

I have the dawson precision tool less extra capacity base pads for my glock running them with the ICE magwell and really enjoy them both. They make them for the XDm as well!

I don't know if Taran tactical makes base pads for the XDM, but if they do I would get em. They take down super easy for cleaning.

The best place to get XDM stuff other than Tony at MAKEREADYPROSHOP.COM is Springer Percision! They are the masters of the XDM platform hands down!!! Before i had the balls to work on my own guns and ths was also when I first started out I sent my XDM to them to have some trigger work done and some other things and the trigger job they did was the closest trigger I have ever felt to a 1911 in a polymer frame gun. It ended up being 2LB pull with no over travel and a really good crisp reset. You can ask Matt and a couple others thta felt it before I sold it for a Glock 24. I would also get the Dawson front sight it helped out a bunch and I just stuck with the stock back sight and it was fine for me. I also used the pistol operator magwell and liked it but now SJC makes one and I think it is the best for a XDM in my opinion ande Tony sells them. I am far from a pro or a gunsmith but this is just what I liked and found out with my experiencewith with the XDM.

If Tony has what I need, that's where I'll get it. I looked at TTI, but no love for XDm. I really think I'm getting Dawson adjustable sights for dad and myself. I have a smith that can install them. But is that about it?

On top of a few factory mags you need at least 2 that hold at least 18 reloadable. 3 mags that hold 20 would be ideal. Get sights you like and a decent trigger. Stop there and buy reloading components, then proceed to try and wear the gun out.

Personally, I will sacrifice every mod to my pistol before I will sacrifice my Dawson Sights!

I did the stuff I could and stay Production legal. PRP trigger, extended mag release, and solid guide rod. I can get started with factory mags and get sights first, then magwell and extensions.
