We will have our monthly match this Sunday at H&H. Sign in starts around 5:30, and shooting will begin as soon as the range is clear, and the stages are set. Please come out and help set up stages...

I didn't hink we were having matches at H&H anymore. Are you running the match Feegee?

Yeah, Feegee is the head honcho over there nowadays. Lol

Wish I could make it buddy. I've got family stuff occupying my time this weekend.
Hope to catch it next month.

Anyone know if there will be any more all classifier matches any time in the near future? Or is that like a once a year thing

It's a once a year thing at hh. Ponca usually does one in the spring sometime though. But that's a long drive from Lawton for you.

Thanks...I don't mind driving as long as I'm off work!

If you're hell bent on shooting a Classifier; CASA is holding one on Mar 29th.

Indian territory practical shooters in Duke usually does one too don't they?

USPSA has lifted the amount of classifiers each club can submit per match, as well as the once a year limit on "All Classifier" matches. Clubs can submit as many classifiers as they wish each match.

That being said, CASA is an excellent range to shoot. Ponca usually hosts eight stages, so if I were looking for a classifier match, I would be looking at Ponca City. Dennis Hoddy probably has all the details.

I imagine if we want more classifiers per match, one of the USPSA clubs will throw in some extras. USPSA will also be running the classifier update weekly sometime in the near future.

What's the round count on an average uspsa match? I know they're generally 8 round neutral, so would a 6 shot revo with 6 speedloaders be enough to make it through the stages? How much is the entry fee? Thanks for answering my new guy questions!

Every match has a different feel to it as far as round count and set up style. I bring 250 rounds to local matches all over the country and I never ran short. I shoot a little revolver myself and I would not feel comfortable with only six speedloaders. You will get by with six 95% of the time, but everybody drops one sometime and the stage layout might make it more advantageous to reload after two or four rounds. If my carrier only held six I would load from my pocket to start everytime.

Round count this month is around 80 if you don't miss. Entry fee is 15.00$$

Thanks all for the responses. I'm just trying to get classified in limited before double tap champ in June. I work a crazy schedule so it's hard for me to plan to shot sometimes. Thanks again and sorry wasn't trying to take this thread off topic.....
