National shooting sports matches should avoid scheduling matches in states that pull this. Probably wouldn't make a big dent, but it would cause an outcry from smaller communities that benefit from the tourism dollars. Lawmakers need to see their actions have consequences they have not really thought through. Local matches can only adjust and comply to their new rules.

Here is a Washington State ban bill. Responding to the Newtown school massacre, the bill would ban the sale of semi-automatic weapons that use detachable ammunition magazines. Clips that contain more than 10 rounds would be illegal. “In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall ... safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.â€
Some of the signers when questioned said they didn't really read the bill that closley or didn't know the inspection part was in there.
The article went on to say there was probably no chance of it passing.

You are correct. But what I heard is that the best chance for killing this was in the House today, they were saying it will get through the senate easily. I checked and in the state senate the dims have a 3 vote majority there too. I doubt that they can turn 2 of those.Jesse Tischauser said:
Edit: The gov said he would sign the mag ban as long as it's between 15 and 20 rounds. That's why they changed it from 10 to 15. Just another dim wanting to say that they "did something". This way they get to "take credit" with their libtard base without having to take quite so much heat from the other side by banning most currently bought handguns. Blocking a 17 round mag down to 15 just isn't going to be that big a deal to those.
