Does someone know of someplace that you can get a nice CCW leather belt and not pay $100? I am looking at a 1.5" width.

I am looking for a nice dress belt.

Not a bad price and they even have the quarter half acre size for me.

Why is this a price watch subject? Thebrasilian was looking for suggestions not posting prices.

I have a Galco 1.5" that I bought on line. I think I ordered it from Bass Pro Shop...I like it, but, It won't hold a full sized to well.
If I carry my Alum. framed Kimber, or the S&W "J" Frame, it does a good job.

I have another one that is about 1/4" thick and stiff as a board. It would hold up my S&W .44 Mag, if I were to carry it...

If I remember riht, I found the Galco on sale. I believe I paid like $40.00 and $8.00 shipping for it fom Bass Pro Shop...

You might check them out.

I know it's not a "gun belt" perse but I've got a 1.5" Carhartt and that I've used it for a while with my Glock 19.

I just found this link on the S&W Forum...

akerleather.com

The link came from S&W Forum post...He said the belts were $45.00 shipped...
I have no connection...Just found the link..

My husband gets his belts at the local uniform store. He waits for a sale and picks them up cheap. Sometimes the local army surplus guy carries some too, although he's a bit hit and miss.

Uniforms by John on Dorchester Rd, kind of catty corner to the Harley Dealership, just past the U-haul rental place. Coming from Summerville go past 526 and it's about half a mile down on the left.

The Old Faithful Holster company sells gun belt kits and finished belts. I don't have any experience with them, but they seem to be well put together based on their website. Here is the link for the finished ones. They are not cheat at $69 for the finished and $39 for the kits, but are lower priced than others.
