Hey all.

The Utah Peace Officer's Association is holding a LEO Multigun National Championship at the SUPS range in Southern Utah September 23 through the 25th.

The match is open to all active or retired law enforcement, including military MPs (or service equivalent).

There will be 2 divisions, Practical and Patrol as well as a team competition. Practical is regular TacOps 3 Gun. Patrol is duty gear with a pump shottie. Cost is $100 per individual and $100 per team if you want to put one together.

Tactical Performance Center is the lead sponsor. Armalite is sponsoring Practical and DoubleTap ammo is sponsoring Patrol. There are also a host of great companies donating a veritable ton of swag to the prize table. I'll post the entire list as soon as I get the complete roster.

The Southern Utah Practical Shooters range is located in sunny Hurricane, Utah, just a couple of miles down the road from St. George. I don't have the round count or stages yet but figure on 9ish stages specifically geared toward LEO shooters. It's a great facility.

If you have questions or problems you can reach me here or at [email protected]. I'm one of the assistant MDs (Eric).

First time competitors are welcomed and encouraged. If you've never competed before this is the match for you. We will help you get going and treat you right. We believe strongly that competition should be an integral part of every officer's training regimen and we're ready to back that up with hard work. Likewise, if you're a seasoned competitor this is the match for you. We'll also treat you right.

Please share this with anyone you know who might be interested. We're looking for as many officers from as many states and agencies as we can get to come out. It's going to be a blast.

I'll post more info as I get it.

Thanks for letting me post this here Jesse!

Patrol Division will be pump shotgun and must be loaded from a side saddle/butt cuff. Shotgun can only start with 5+1 and no stage will require more than 12 shells (6 in the gun and 6 on the saddle). One aiming optic per rifle (scope, red dot, or red dot/magnifier combo are acceptable). You must use a retention holster and belt used for duty (SWAT rigs are accepted). Pistol must be on the USPSA production legal list, but doesn't need to conform with Production rules. No magwells or extended base pads on pistol. The intent is for the Patrol Division participants will compete with exactly the same gear they use for duty/patrol.

Practical Division is competition gear and guns. It is basically identical to 3gn Practical or USPSA Tactical. The only difference is the Practical shotgun must start with 5+1, to keep the stages layout reasonable with Patrol Division.
