LaRue VFZ mounts?

Anyone have any experience with this style mount. Im building up a AR for a hunting rifle and dont see the need for a QD mount. Are these good or should I just spend the $25 and get the QD mount? Im looking at the 104

It's the mount I have on my coyote rifle. I was the same way, no need for QD with that rifle so saving the money was a good move. They're 100% quality as is all LaRue kit.
