My platoon's medic in Iraq, who is a close friend of mine, received a letter from te VA saying he's no longer fit to possess firearms. He's never sought mental health treatment, counseling, medication, etc, just has a PTSD rating on file, like so many other veterans. What makes it worse is that he's now an armed guard for a power plant; once the ruling is made official (he's disputed it) he won't be able to keep working. I can understand if someone was a danger to themselves or others, but this is just a cheap shot play from this administration. I'm out of the Army now and don't have to pull punches about my "Commander" in Chief. Wonder when I'll get my letter? Hope I can afford the lawyer.
