Ok eventually I'm going to need to purchase some of these I hear, with all the work I've had done to my knee I think it might be a good idea also. What pads do you guys recommend that are good? ya know something that will stay where they should if running, rolling around on the ground and something that will work nice on the rocks. Thanks fella's! Later,

Kirk

I bought some skater knee and elbow pads from Walmart for Kurt's rifle class. They performed great. For $15, I can't complain at all. They stayed in place, were comfortable, and with the hard plastic front they were great on the rocks. They seem fairly durable too. Even if they crap out here pretty soon, I'm not out much.

Lance jensen let me try out his army issue knee and elbow pads and they are great. I bought a set for myself. They use the hard cup deal which is great for dirt or other soft surfaces but nit so good on hard surfaces like Rock or a wood table/rooftop.

I also have a set of soft Blackhawks knee and elbow pads that work ok. The elbow pad straps have Worn out after 2 years . The knee pads are kinda odd because there is a huge pad that sits on top of your knee. It doesn't contour to the curvature to your knee like the army pads do.

I have a set of XL army knee pads that don't fit me for sale. $25 if u want them. You gotta have big ass tree trunk legs. I'm guessing you'd have to be a 250lb sob or be able to squat 500+ to use them.

Well I'm a little off the 250# and I have freakin' bird legs so they probable wouldn't fit Jesse LOL I have to have something sorta soft as I still have these cool metal clips holding the tendon together bump it wrong and I'm crying like a schoolgirl! I'll check the Hatch pads and some more digging around. Keep the ideas coming guys. Later,

Kirk

if you have an idea - I might be able to build some pads! I usually go to Harbor Freight and spend 3 bucks on knee and elbow pads.

I use gel insert knee pads I bought at Lowes. They're hard plastic outer shell & very comfortable. The gel comforms to your knee very nicely. They were about $30 or so.
