Thanks for the number! I just called and they marked down my vote of support.
I didn't realize the 2nd Amendment was written for someone to agree with open carry or not. All the BS about easier to grab, makes you a target, etc is just that. It is the individual's choice to carry openly or not once our great state grants us the rights we were originally given over 200 years ago. Personally, I'd be more scared of someone trying to draw from concealment with a gun they never practice with.

This is just a baby step for constitutional carry.
As I've stated already, the SDA law has been modified many times in the past to reflect the changes in public opinion in favor of the gun owners.
This bill allows constitutional carry states like Vermont and Alaska to OC in Ok by just showing their DL.
So, the next step is to make sure Ok gun owners are afforded the same right as those that we allow into our state without having to take the CC course, and pay somebody to give us a right that has already afforded in the Constitution.
