The Cash for Gold at 39th and Penn now has "13th Armory" in the back. They added a cash for ammo sign out front too that I didn't see until it was too late to snap a pic.

I went in, of course, and a guy was selling a pile of .223 Wolf and buying a random assortment of other stuff. I didn't ask for purchase prices but they are buying at pre-madness really good bulk pricing.

It appears ammo is now better than gold and the "cash for" business is slimy no matter what it's trading in.

I saw a segment on one of the local news channels about this last week. Wonder what the pricing is going to be, and what they are carrying?

They had a bunch of ratty shotgun shell boxes and a small random mix ammo. Being that they are in the gold business, I'd wager most of the good lots that come in will go to AL/GB or similar sites.

The sleaze level was pretty high (coming through the gold office door maybe?) and I doubt I'll be stopping too often. I do think I could turn a quick buck on my .22lr though, he was more interested in that than any handgun types. (not even gonna happen)

I wouldn't want to work there they might get robbed. :triniti:

I would want to hang on to all the ammo I owned if I was around 39th and Penn.
